Last Updated on June 20, 2022 by Mostafa Egypt is highly committed to all initiatives concerning “differently abled” persons, works to enhance their access to appropriate care, and directs all state organizations to unify all efforts in cooperation with civil society organizations and the private sector to drive more public awareness of the subject matter. However, we at PraxiLabs, felt there is an important step forward that we still need to take towards to cover the need to equip people of determination with the necessary practical skills in scientific disciplines. A major part of this segment faces many barriers in science education, one of which is fear. Others are simply not equipped with the right tools to enable them to reach their dreams so, we launched an initiative “People of Determination, Future Scientists,” that is the first of its kind to use technology to rehabilitate and educate people of determination in various fields of science. It all started with us creating a platform in partnership with Ain Shams University, iHub, and NEED, to enable each student of determination, whether in school or university, to understand STEM practically, by applying their knowledge in scientific laboratories. We had a dream that …

The Most Common Applications of Newton’s Second Law of Motion
Last Updated on April 11, 2023 by Sara Assem Newton’s laws of motion are three physical laws that establish the science of kinematics. These laws describe the relationship between the motion of an object and the force acting on it. They are essential because they are the foundation of classical mechanics, one of the main branches of physics. It was Isaac Newton who established these laws, and he used these laws to explain many physical systems and phenomena. In this article, we will focus on the most common examples and applications of Newton’s second law of motion in daily life. Newton’s second law studies the movement of an object when external forces affect it. When a constant force affects a huge object, it causes it to accelerate, that is, to change its speed, at a constant rate. Newton’s second law is a quantitative description of the changes that a force can produce on the motion of a body. It states that the time rate of change of the momentum of a body is equal in both magnitude and direction to the force imposed on it. Sir Isaac Newton If we are going to talk about classical mechanics and applications …

ELISA Principle, Procedure, Types, and Applications
Last Updated on April 11, 2023 by Sara Assem The Enzyme Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) is one of the most sensitive immunoassays available. The typical detection range for an ELISA is 0.1 to 1 fmole or 0.01 ng to 0.1 ng. It is a plate-based assay technique designed for detecting and quantifying peptides, proteins, antibodies, and hormones. In an ELISA, an antigen must be immobilized to a solid surface and then complexed with an antibody that is linked to an enzyme. Detection is accomplished by assessing the conjugated enzyme activity via incubation with a substrate to produce a measurable product. The most crucial element of the detection strategy is a highly specific antibody-antigen interaction. In this article we will discuss ELISA principle, procedure, types, and applications. Elisa Meaning You may have wondered what does ELISA stand for? ELISA stands for enzyme-linked immunoassay. It is a commonly used laboratory test to detect antibodies in the blood. An antibody is a protein produced by the body’s immune system when it detects harmful substances, called antigens. ELISA is an effective and widely used technique in microbiology and virology—in particular, for investigating infectious pathogens. ELISA Principle What is the principle of enzyme linked …
